âVerizon Business (NYSE:VZ) and BlackRock announced today that a private 5G network from Verizon will feature at BlackRock Inc.'s new Hudson Yards headquarters.

The deal brings secure 5G Ultra-Wideband connectivity that can replace office WiFi at Hudson Yards, the beginning of what the telecom giant expects to be a major new business opportunity. Â

â
BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, plans to occupy 15 floors of the new 50 Hudson Yards tower while securing $25 million in tax credits from the state for keeping and creating jobs in New York.
